Books on the Hill had a visitor from Capitol Hill the other day. While in her home district from D.C. on April 11, Representative Susan Wild stopped by the Fountain Hill location of BAPL to deliver a donation of boxes books that came from the Library of Congress. Congresswoman Wild is a big lover of books and a big fan of libraries and was happy to be able to share some of these materials from the Library of Congress with us. It was a wide range of books including books in various languages, books for children, bestsellers, and audiobooks. We look forward to adding them to our collection for readers to enjoy.
We had a great time showing Rep. Wild around the newest library facility, and we thank her so much for her donation to BAPL!
