The South Side Branch runs the Bethlehem Area Public Library Homebound Delivery Service. If you live anywhere in our service area and cannot make it out to the Library for medical reasons, phone us at 610-867-7852 to register for this service. You can borrow books in regular or large print, as well as magazines, books on CD, DVDs and music CDs.
When the library is closed, you can return materials to our book-drop located to the left of the handicap entrance on Webster Street. When we’re open, the book-drop is locked and you must return materials to the inside check-in desk.
We consider book-drop materials returned on the previous day of operations provided that you made the deposit BEFORE the Library next opens. If more convenient, materials also can be returned to the Main Library or to our Bookmobile.
The South Side booksale is ongoing. Stop in any time the library is open to check out what we have available!
