Liberty High School MDS students (Multiple Disabilities Support Program) visited BAPL Main’s library in April for ExploraStory, a story and art program designed for special-needs adults. Students heard and saw the collage-based story Rain Fish, by Lois Ehlert, then created collages of their own with a variety of materials and pictures. The Youth Services Department hosted the program and everyone had a great time.
Freedom’s LifeSkills students will be coming at the end of May for a similar session and a general ExploraStory for special-needs adults is scheduled for Wednesday, May 8 at 2:30. Please share this flyer with anyone you know who might be interested!
