February is Black History Month, a time to recognize the achievements of African Americans and celebrate the role they have played in our country’s history. At the Bethlehem Area Public Library, we are highlighting African American authors, literature, and movies during this month. Visit the display by the Reference Desk for some of our staff suggestions.
You can take your learning to the next level by filling out our Black History Month Literature Challenge. Answer six questions about authors and their work and you will be entered into a raffle for an Amazon gift card. The challenge is available online or at the Main Branch Reference Desk., and it is open to high school students and adults and runs until the end of February. You might learn about a new author or library resource!
