Anytime and anywhere — even the doctor’s office is a great place for spreading stories (not germs)! Because primary care physicians have repeated contact with families from an early stage, they play a significant role in promoting literacy. BAPL Outreach recently visited Star Wellness KidsCare on the South Side of Bethlehem to read a few stories, chat with the kiddos, and share with parents the importance of reading aloud to their children. Even waiting rooms can elicit a fit of giggles with The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
