This week BAPL had lots of non-human guests visit our Main Library. On June 19, the Lehigh Valley Zoo brought some snakes and other interesting creatures for an educational animal program. On June 20, our favorite furry friends came to visit for a “read to the dogs” event. These therapy dogs sit patiently while young students practice their reading. It’s totally adorable and an excellent way to keep those reading skills sharp during the summer months. It was a day full of tails (and tales).
