2017 FILM SERIES - NETWORK

Join us for a screening and discussion of the landmark 1976 film, Network. Though some dismissed the film in 1976 as too far-fetched,  "Network" went on to win 4 Academy Awards, including Faye Dunaway for Best Actress and Peter Finch, Best Actor. Since that time, the film's critical acclaim has grown.  It was selected for film preservation in 2000 by the Library of Congress, and in 2005 Paddy Chayefsky's script was named one of the 10 best screenplays in history by the Writers Guild of America.  Discussion to follow the film.  Light refreshments will be served.
