Thanks to grant funding, the library’s public PCs will be receiving a much needed overhaul this month.

A new time and print management system will be installed on July 16th at the Main library and on July 17th at the South Side branch. Coin and bill acceptors will replace the old cash card system and wireless printing will be available! Of course, credit and debit cards may still be used. In addition, Windows 7 will be installed on all of the public PCs, along with several other enhancements. The overall result will be a much more fluid, user-friendly system.

Due to this change, we do not recommend any new cash card purchases. Any balance remaining on current cash cards can be transferred to the new system. Please note that computer use and printing will be intermittent on Monday, July 15th from 2-8pm and unavailable all day Tuesday, July 16th at the Main Branch. Computer use and printing will be unavailable at the South Side branch on Wednesday, July 17th.
