Certified instructors Stacy Duck and Liz Mooring from Tiger Schulmann’s Martial Arts will offer instruction and important information about safety, rape education, and domestic abuse prevention from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. The class is for women and girls, age 13 and older (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult).

The Lehigh Valley Vanguard gives voice to art, politics, and identity issues during a poetry reading on Thursday, April 14 at the South Side Branch from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. The group is a community of poets who are activist writers taking on issues that are relevant to today. toddlers at play pixBring your toddler to Learn and Grow, a Family Place workshop offered at the South Side Branch on Tuesdays from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning March 29. Children, ages 1-3, play with educational toys and explore music and art activities. Each week childhood professionals from the community serve as resources and interact one-on-one with parents, answering questions on an individual basis. Register today!
