The Bethlehem Area Public Library South Side Branch is closed on Thursday, February 13, 2014.

The following programs will be rescheduled:

Toddlers on the Move storytime – extra session will be added on March 20, 2014

Bethlehem Unbound – rescheduled for February 20, 2014 at 6:00 PM

Homework Help – canceled

No items are due today, they will be due on Saturday, February 15, 2014.

Hosted by Lehigh University at the South Side Branch on Thursday, February 13 as part of the Global Citizenship Capstone Project.  Refreshments served. No registration. Open to the public. Free.   Also, March 13 and April 10.  Details here

City dwellers enjoy unique benefits, yet also face many challenges that come with urban living.  Please join us as we explore what it means to be an urban dweller in a city like Bethlehem – through poetry, stories, short novels and discussions about social justice, labor, culture and family.  Refreshments will be served.  No registration.

Hosted by Lehigh University students participating in the Global Citizenship Capstone Project.

RED Day (Renew, Energize and Donate) is an initiative dedicated to celebrating Keller Williams Realty’s year-round commitment to improving our local communities. Keller Williams staff spent the day painting and cleaning the basement level of the South Side Branch. They also helped with moving the books back upstairs following the Branch’s recent renovation.
