Wear a costume and come for spooky stories, games and Halloween crafts at the Bethlehem Area Public Library on Tuesday, October 27 at 6:30 p.m. Both the Main Library and the South Side Branch are hosting Halloween parties for preschool and elementary age children. Registration is required at the South Side Branch only. The one-hour events are free and open to the public.

Visit Hawaii in south Bethlehem with island stories and delicious Hawaiian treats at the South Side Branch on Tuesday, September 29 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Make a hula skirt and dance to island rhythms at this family luau.
Lehigh University and Moravian College is partnering with the Library to offer after school homework help and free tutoring in every subject and every grade! Monday through Thursday at the Main Library and Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Branch. Take advantage of this service and help your child have a successful school year.
Ahhh, bittersweet Labor Day. The “yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country” (US Dept. of Labor). A time to relax and enjoy the unofficial end of summer. Even though the Library is closed this weekend- Saturday and Monday, you can still download eBooks, digital magazines, or access our online resources. Enjoy the long weekend!
Exercise programs such as Zumba improve both physical and mental health! Popular Zumba classes use dance to burn calories at the South Side Branch every Thursday at 6:30 pm through October 29. Dress as your favorite hero or villain and come to Heroes vs. Villains Night for exciting games and refreshments at the South Side Branch tonight at 6:30 p.m. You can make a mask and cape at the program if you don’t have a costume.
