The bookmobile will be at all it’s normal stops on Monday, Feb 24th except Chesterfield Lane from 6:45-8:15. Because of the snow bank and narrow road, parking is a problem. Instead of Chesterfield, it will be back at the Hanover Township Community Center from 6:45-8:15.
After checking all the stops, the bookmobile will be at the Princeton Dr and Redwood Dr at Galway stops today.
There still is no parking at the other two stops on Stanley Ave and East Hills. because of the snow. All items from those stops will be due at the next scheduled visit.
Is it forgetfulness or is it Alzheimer’s disease? Dr. Lorraine Spikol will be giving a presentation on the causes of and treatment for Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia and the best ways to maintain brain fitness at the Main Library on Tuesday, February 18 at 6 p.m. in the 2nd floor Laros Meeting Room.
Dr. Spikol is the head of neuroscience research at Lehigh Valley Hospital and has been on staff since 1991. The program will include a question and answer portion for caregivers and adults concerned about the nuances of the disease.
The Fountain Hill stops are cancelled today because of the parking on Seneca St, and the pile of snow and ice at the entrance of St. Ursula’s, which prevents the bookmobile from getting into the lot. Also, the last stop at Highbridge Ct. is cancelled because of the parking situation.
The bookmobile will be at Walgreens and Blair Rd today.
Any items due today will be extended until the next scheduled visit.
