If you are a college student looking for summer employment, consider the library! We hire students eligible for the PHEAA State Work-Study Program to work as Library Assistants from June to August. Typical duties include working at the Circulation desk, shelving materials, shelf-reading, and assisting in prep for children’s programs. Coloring is not just for children anymore. The coloring fad is gaining momentum because of its stress-relieving benefits. The South Side Branch is having a workshop for adults on Saturday, May 7. The bookmobile will be at the Bethlehem YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day event from 10 a.m – 1 p.m. on Saturday, 4/30. This means it will not be making previously scheduled stops at Stanley Ave. in Fountain Hill and Hanover Elementary School in the morning.
However, the afternoon stops at Washington St. (and Galway) in Bethlehem Township and Johnston Dr. (near Shakespeare and Hilly Rds.) will proceed as scheduled.
