During the past two years, the Bethlehem Area Public Library has been hit very hard. Harrisburg cut over 30% of our funding and POWER Library's e-resources for schools and libraries was slashed by 73%, despite the fact that in-library computer use increased by 19% and online resource use jumped 48%. Last year, State budget cuts forced us to cut hours, programs and staff hours. This year MORE programs and services will be scaled back or eliminated entirely, library hours shortened and staff reduced. YOU can help SAVE THIS LIBRARY in two ways: donate $10, $25, $50 or whatever you can afford, right now, and help us fund this great community resource.
