Bessie Coleman was the first African American woman, and the first Native American to hold a pilot license. She was the first Black American to earn an international pilot license, too. Join us as we read a story about Bessie and learn about aeronautics. We’ll put what we learn into making paper and cardboard airplanes, then test our designs. No registration is required. This event is held in the Youth Services department on the 2nd floor of the Library.
